Leadership, Culture & Employee Engagement in Education

Unlock innovation and build the reputation of your organisation with our Rebel Leadership workshops, our DARE employee engagement model and our leadership and team coaching:

=

Banishing imposter syndrome – reviving and revealing individual’s expert status within their career journey to date, and their own natural, unique brilliance.

=

Creating a new level of personal and professional empowerment amongst your managers and leaders which helps them forge new ideas, mobilise their teams and enhance positivity within your organisational culture

=

Increasing the ability of each delegate to take a role in growing the organisation’s reputation, engage students and stakeholders, and build effective working partnerships through their own actions.

All of this will be achieved using my unique “Lead as you R” framework, honed from a combination of coaching credentials, 20 years of consulting or leading in the education sector, and 20 years of strategic reputation management in a range of industries:

corporate workshops on marketing and leadership

REVIVAL: Tuning each delegate into their own strengths, values and expertise as the foundation of who they are and what they can bring to their leadership

REVELATIONS: Opportunity scoping, innovation thinking and Blue Sky Thinking – we’ll encourage delegates to team up and look at what their combined skill sets, experience and personal and professional networks can achieve – whether that’s new products, new ways of working or new ways to solve an existing problem

REPUTATION AND RECOGNITION – Here we’ll encourage your managers and leaders, as the expert they now recognise themselves as, to identify ways they can use their knowledge and connections to build your organisation’s reputation, forge new partnerships, engage with stakeholders and the community.

Here is a small selection of what’s on offer:

TEAM DEVELOPMENT & TEAM COACHING IN EDUCATION

VALUES IN ACTION – most companies have developed organisational values, but most miss the step of translating those values into everyday behaviours. And what happens if employee values are in conflict with those values the organisation holds dear? This workshop takes a deep dive into how understanding of personal and organisational values can help decision making, employee engagement and motivation and connection to company mission and purpose

SWOT ANALYSIS – what is your understanding of your own strengths and what strengths do you identify in others? How can the strengths that are present in your team help you overcome weakness, identify opportunities and be ready for threats? How do the team’s strengths combine to make it stronger than the sum of its parts

TEAM DIAGNOSTICS – how does the performance of your team compare to the well-established characteristics of a high-performing team? A team diagnostic will help you identify the things your team is doing brilliantly, and shine a light on the areas you might wish to focus to move your teams from good to great.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SKILLS for workplace effectiveness and well-being – Now more than ever, it is imperative to recognise that well-being and workplace performance go hand in hand. And being able to deal with the many challenging thoughts, feelings and emotions that the workplace can bring is a skill that can be taught like any other. We teach a variety of techniques that will help your employees to move though self-doubt, low self-esteem and imposter thoughts so that they can engage with the workplace and produce their best work.

BEHAVIOURAL PREFERENCES – how do the members of your team like to give and receive information. What kinds of workplace behaviours feel effortless to them, and which are more of a challenge? How do they mask their personal preferences to fit in with the workplace status quo and what kind of effect might this have on their engagement and productivity. We use a behavioural preference profiling tool to explore all of these questions and more!

    CLIENT FEEDBACK:

Rachel researched, planned and facilitated an engaging and thought-provoking workshop that left the whole team feeling energised and much clearer on our message and strategy. Rachel has since successfully carried out similar reviews for other colleagues, Programme Directors and business development teams at the Business School. Feedback from everyone has been extremely positive and we would certainly recommend Rachel to others

I would like to say a big thank you for such an insightful experience. Our group training day contained a wealth of industry insight for managers and our Senior Leadership Team. Colleagues who attended the training left feeling empowered with quick wins and tips. One of the key benefits is now having a more joined up approach with SLT members in the decision-making process, giving room for much more creativity and innovation. We have now become an award-winning marketing team!

“Thank you for such an inspiring session. Your passion is amazing to see and I can’t wait to put your ideas into practice.”

“Really enjoyed your talk and honing down my ‘why’. Lots of tips and things to reflect on. Loved the anecdotes too. I will definitely do the work you suggested to keep that inner critic at bay.”
